Review on Turbo 0386 0835 PL 8ADLX B Extreme Acetylene by Joseph Adaymiln

I bought this to replace another cheaper Air/Ace burner that was leaking gas from the valve. I've always known about the quality of a Turbotork, but still didn't want to pay for it. The quality is clear from the packaging, the fit and finish are excellent. I changed the tube to a longer 24' just because 12' wasn't enough for me. The self-luminous tip is the best since my last upgrade and this suction cup is HOT, the PL-8A tip burns just as hot if not more than my A-14 and lights up when the button is pressed with a satisfying pop. I've only soldered copper up to 3/4 Type L Oxy/Med, but I have no doubt this allows for easy 1" soldering.
