Personally, to do it again, I would buy an original fuel pump.

connecting hoses are larger than stock fuel pumps. The hose and filter that came with the new pump will fit the inlet, but the old hose on the outlet side is smaller and will not fit the fuel pump. If you fit a hose that fits the fuel pump, it will be too big for the carburetor port. I had to make an adjustment and adapter to install the hose so it wouldn't leak. After all that, the pump works great.
