Review on Proster Rechargeable Talkies Earpiece Transceiver Car & Vehicle Electronics by Frank Tyrance

A step in the right direction, but short-lived

It all started well. They have decent voice clarity but aren't great if not used properly. But the belt clips are total crap. It also has a few gimmicks, like a few buttons that don't actually work and a "flashlight" that's too dim to be useful. I think it's good as a visual beacon, but there are other devices that do it much better. Within a few months almost all of the belt clips were broken, two of the antennas were broken, the battery was dying and some were having trouble charging. I ended up finding another set of walkie-talkies for a little more money that have better clarity, good belt clips, are much more durable, and have a single charging base for better organization. Do not get me wrong. This is a HUGE improvement over tiny plastic batteries that require AAA batteries. However, I can only recommend them if you are very careful with them. Spend a little more to get a quality set.
