For the first steps in photography, this camera is a dream. In addition, many photographers I know take her as a second worker. Got pros: After a few months of use, I want to share my impressions of the Nikon Z5. Pros: 1. The camera is convenient (light, compact, fits perfectly in the hand, convenient to take with you) 2. Simple settings (you can safely take and use it, it shoots great even in the “auto” mode, and if you figure out the manual mode, your pictures will immediately go to a new level. But if you are an amateur and don’t know which settings to choose, feel free to set auto). 3. The camera has excellent autofocus on the eyes and face (what you need for shooting babies - the frames are juicy and clear). 4. This is probably the most affordable full-frame camera right now. 5. It shoots well in the dark in low light. 6. Through the adapter, you can connect old lenses (not with a Z mount), you do not have to change the entire fleet of equipment. Old batteries fit too. 7. Shoots juicy videos in 4k (maybe professionals will have complaints, I saw it in the reviews, but I, as an amateur, have none. Autofocus works, focuses on the face. Does not tremble). 8. Two slots for SD cards (these cards are cheaper, there is a safety net in the form of a second card) 9. It tolerates heat well (we took it on vacation to the tropics) and cold (winter this year turned out to be snowy and frosty, but the camera is not buggy in the cold). 10. Moisture resistant - got caught in the rain with it. I was very afraid of the consequences, but everything worked out. Although, I do not recommend repeating such an experience. Cons below: In fact, objectively, I did not notice any cons. From the subjective: given that Nikon classified it as a camera for beginners, it is a little expensive (but at the same time, you will not find anything better in this price segment from others). There are not a lot of "native" Z lenses on it yet (but I think it's a matter of time) and they are more expensive than other Nikon lenses.
