Review on Flowmaster 80430402 3-inch Inlet(C)/2.5-inch Outlet(D) 40 Series 409s Muffler by Anferny Pineda

I bought this muffler to replace the Magnaflow on my 2008 Dodge Ram Hemi truck. The Magnaflow had a nice sound, but I could only hear it when I hit the gas pedal. I looked at the other 40 series Flowmaster makes (Super, Delta) but after hearing them I knew the original was the one for me. Since switching to the Flowmaster I have been very happy with the increased sound levels produced by the Flowmaster Original 40 series. My rig has two pipes exiting the rear under the bumper with 4 x 18 x 2.5" chrome tips. I didn't notice any cockpit hum with this setup. I wouldn't recommend dumping it under; it would make the noise level in your cabin deafening If you want a louder, more aggressive sound for your V-8 engine, get the Flowmaster Original 40 Series.
