Review on Mavis Miki Reusable Bamboo Towels: Heavy Duty, Money-Saving Kitchen Paper Replacement - Strong Absorbency, Zero Waste Lint-Free Unpaper Towel (Pack of 40) by Lauralee Jensen

Not the best reusable towel I've ever used but good for some purposes

Media failed to load. I have several types of reusable towels and have greatly reduced the amount of paper towels used in our household. Aside from saving money in the long run, I want to be eco-friendly whenever possible. While MAVIS MIKI Reusable Bamboo Towels (Pack of 40) work well in certain situations, I don't find them to be as durable or versatile as other products I use. was used. They come in 2 rolls of 20 towels. I usually keep a few reusable towels in my kitchen drawer and replace them when they run out. This towel is a pretty good size, actually larger than most paper towels with their range of sizes these days. When dry they are like a piece of felt that is slightly different. If you pull on them horizontally, they will give and feel like they will tear if you pull too hard, like felt. They are also definitely thicker than a paper towel. You are soft. They are a cross between a paper towel and a tea towel. They absorb moisture well, but leave a thin film of liquid on the counter that requires multiple passes. My main issue with these towels is their durability. They just aren't as durable as other products I've used. If they don't last very long, I'm not helping the environment or saving money. They just don't hold up well when washed. It ruins them pretty quickly and I will definitely wash the clothes I use in the kitchen. A HandiWipe lasts 20 times longer than one of these towels. In the end, what is more environmentally friendly? I'm not sure, but I'll pick one that lasts a lot longer. If you're really into using bamboo products for sustainability reasons, you might want to give them a try. I found them best for lighter jobs like draining food, drying hands, mopping up spills, or when you need a softer material like wiping glass. I don't use them for cleaning.
