I checked all the side lights when the package arrived (a bit slow but it was from the other end of the world) and all the leds on each of the ten lights were lit. Today I finally installed a pair under the rear bumper of my 2005 Suburban, replacing two small taillights I put in there ten years ago. They are brighter but not bright enough to be used as a brake light. However, they are great for providing extra marker lights on the back of your vehicle, especially when connected to taillights. The leakage current is negligible. I don't think all will draw 10 1/2 amps. Each lantern comes with a mounting gasket, small mounting screws and nuts. Mounting screws are smaller than 6-32 in diameter and about 3/4" long. I would give the marker lights 4.8 stars. The only improvement I would recommend is sealing the back of the housing where the wires exit .For the price and number of lights I don't mind making it myself.
