Review on ๐Ÿ”ง Klein Tools 5240 Tool Pouch: Tradesman Pro Maintenance Holster with 9 Pockets for Electricians by Erik Gerber

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Make it good for power tools and hand tools

I've used up my share of tool holders. Not because they wear out, but because they are impractical. I was looking for the perfect leather tool holster so I didn't want to buy this plastic 9 pocket holster. I was worried it wouldn't fit all of my wiring/cable tools, but I took a chance. I'm glad I did. It holds all my essential tools (which I use all the time) so I can keep my secondary/specialized tools in a separate pocket. And yes, my small tool (aka pliers) works great when using pockets as dividers. instead of this. Look at the picture because here's my load: Left side: hammer in tape loop (tape is in velcro front pocket with other hardware), large screwdriver/crowbar in side pocket. Back row, left to right: Needle, 4-in-1 screwdriver, 3/8" wrench (imitation), dams, small wrench. Front row, left to right: 5/8-3/4" "Pawl, 1/2-9/16" pawl (simulated), sheep paw deburring knife, crescent wrench, 6-12ga puller. And a pair of adjustable jaw pliers in the right pocket. That's a shot. Might just work for you , if you use it otherwise. If not, give it to your student.

Pros
  • Good value for money
Cons
  • Requires outlet
