This bird feeder has made caring for our new pets so much easier! I used to have to vacuum the "chaff" out of their feeders every day so they could find the seeds underneath. This feeder is very cool because all the shells are collected at the bottom when the birds are eating. Having two feeding stations is a bonus so that the dominant bird doesn't disturb the others while they are eating. must be constantly refilled. The outer bracket gives our budgies enough space to flap around in their cage. Last but not least, the top and bottom go well for proper rotation. You no longer have to empty the entire container to get old food - old food is always eaten first. This feeder is well thought out and works perfectly. I'm so glad I bought it!
