poor quality

Worked for a few weeks and then couldn't connect my Macbook to the LG monitor. Also, the image flickered on both my monitor and laptop screen during use. After I started using it, the color of my laptop screen also became distorted and looks like it has an infrared filter. Not sure if this is related to the monitor or adapter but will be returning it.
