Absolutely shocked, this thing really works.
I put this between my Xfinity cable box (1080p) and my Sony Bravia 4k TV (2015 model) and was seriously shocked by the simple little box as this cheap one actually does what is advertised . Image quality is definitely sharper, but if you look too close (e.g. 2ft from the screen) you can tell it's a scaled image. The simple solution is to not watch TV from 2 feet away. The display has a resolution of 3840 x 2160p 4K 16:9 instead of the 1080p that the cable box has. I would recommend this to anyone trying to get a little more out of a 1080p video source on a 4k TV.
