I like to carry a small Minox 6x16 monocular in my pocket for the occasional better bird or plane view, and would like a better camera than I have on a phone. This device made such a promise. And that disappointed me. The ergonomics are terrible. The shutter button sits awkwardly, is small and has almost no tactile feedback, which is necessary because there is almost no on-screen feedback when taking pictures, only the white frame blinks once when taking pictures, there isn't either audio feedback (what kind of birds makes sense). The 4x zoom is fine, but the digital zoom is just a blurry mess. My Note 20 Ultra takes much better pictures at 5x and 10x zoom. Low-light performance is also terrible. Hopefully the next iteration will be better. Requires: - built-in lens cap - 10x optical zoom with stabilization, forget about digital zoom - better ergonomics, large tactile trigger (a plus if it works with gloves), zoom rocker, better feedback when shooting - clamp for a strap Like some monoculars - possibly weatherproof/waterproof - it might be more expensive if it had these features
