Really didn't want to spend that much just for surge protectors. I'm generally happy with the Tripp-Lite branded products, but I needed a 12V trigger output feature. After burning some cheap "Eco" switchable power strips, I realized I needed something much higher quality needed (I use this to turn on/off power amp). I really appreciate the spacing and orientation of the outlets and the 12 volt trigger is super reliable.
