If you're looking for an authentic rose smell without completely breaking the bank, this absolute fits the bill. The scent is spot on -- and I have a very picky nose. I made a few aromatherapy roll ons by mixing about 5 drops of this absolute in a roller bottle with fractionated coconut oil, and it is just heavenly, and very well received as gifts. I also used about 5 drops in a distilled alcohol and purified water 2 oz base for an amazing room spray. I've also tried a few drops in my oil diffuser, and it smells fine, but I like using this for perfumes and aromatherapy mists better. I can't pretend to even guess on the purity of the rose absolute, but the smell is divine, and the price is right for using it as an authentic rose scent in homemade products. And at this price, I can actually afford it.
