Review on G.SKILL Ripjaws SO-DIMM 16GB DDR4 2666 Dual Channel Laptop Memory - F4-2666C19D-32GRS by Shawn Tolbert

I bought these memory cards to upgrade my laptop (Thinkpad X1) from 8GB to 32GB, but after installing it I found that the laptop won't turn on. The power button LED was lit, but the screen remained blank. At first I thought the memory was incompatible with my system, but I couldn't figure out why because the specs seemed right. Then I decided to test each memory card separately. One stick worked great and the other didn't. I tested both flash drives in the same memory slot to make sure the problem wasn't with the motherboard. This was quite disappointing as memory issues are generally rare and G.Skill is considered to be one of the most well-known brands. I ended up returning them and ordering a different brand of memory.
