I understand it should be universal, but it would have to be modified in almost every detail to make it work on a 2008 Tacoma. The illustration shows the rear seat cover with the headrests attached, however it is not possible to attach them through the top of the cover. You will either need to pull the lid down far enough to reveal the holes or cut open the lid. Elastic straps are weak, 2 broke trying to attach the back cover. The hooks for attaching the straps have to be bent so that they really hold. I decided to return them without even trying to put the front covers on. It may be better for your car, but not recommended for Toyota Tacoma Double Cab.
