They are light and convenient. I was afraid the band would be too tight, but it isn't. I use them to "beat" my curly hair and let it air dry for a bit before blow-drying. I then leave it on while I blow dry with a diffuser to keep my curls together and tangle-free. I also sleep in it to keep my curls intact and avoid frizz. I love love love these!
