Extremely handy when using an impact wrench. I used to place the driver on the floor, hold the part with one hand, screw my mouth in, and then bend down to pick up the driver. Stretching and usually moving what I was holding. It was a disaster. Now I'll fetch the screwdriver without looking, hold the part, pick up the screwdriver without looking, and screw in the screw/bolt, etc. I suppose the same goes for using a drill. Handy pockets for screwdrivers, drills, bit holders, etc. Can't comment on durability yet, but will update if problems arise.
