Let me start off by saying it’s really cute and very bright but also easily made dim. It comes with a lid so It isn’t as bright in a smaller room. Unfortunately it does not come with an AC adapter so it either runs on batteries or you have to have one. There is no on off switch so you have to take the batteries out to turn it off. But at the end of the day I am very happy with it (I happen to have an AC adapter at my house that was perfect for it) and it’s been great for my sons room.
