Review on MICHELIN Pilot Sport 4 245/40 R19 98Y summer by Adam Wiedemann ᠌

Not a bad product, but you can do better.

Stage 2 2.0tfsi quattro auto Audi A5. In the winter of 2022–2022, I purchased a brand-new kit. Spanish-made tires from 2022. The car steers perfectly, accelerates and brakes reliably, is quiet inside, and inspires confidence thanks to the rubber's conduct, which I particularly enjoyed. Plans called for skating on the track, however this season did not develop as planned. However, there is a price to be paid: very quick wear. I sped through around 20,000 miles during the season in city-highway mode. The tread seems to be decreasing pretty quickly, I've noticed. Additionally, for the season, roughly 7 punctures were closed up. The most intriguing item, though, was waiting for me as I switched my footwear for the season. I had assumed that there were more nails on the roads. One of the cylinders' inner edges had the cord chewed away! A little more, and a very sad ending might be the result. The season's opening collapse did occur. China tested a lot of branded rubber prior to it, but each set was adequate for at least three seasons, or roughly 50.000 miles. You can take it if paying 40,000 for tires for a season is not a bad idea. However, I won't use Michelin again and won't recommend it to anyone.

Pros
  • Controllability! It moves as though on rails. No drifting, good resistance to hydroplaning. Rubber is very light in weight. There is hardly any noise.
Cons
  • For the season, erased to the cord! This was unexpected. exceedingly fragile and vulnerable to harm.
