Review on 📏 Topeak D2 SmartGauge: Accurate and Compact Black/Grey Pressure Gauge - One Size by Daniel Shankle

Pros I like the Topeak D2 SmartGauge because of the large digital screen. It's very easy to read. I like the compact size. I love that it works with Presta and Schrader valves. I also like the fact that the gauge nozzle rotates so the user can see the LCD screen. Finally, the quality of the material used (plastic) is decent; it doesn't seem fragile. Disadvantages Release of air pressure. In the event of over-inflation, the device has a button to release the air pressure. The idea behind this is to achieve precise pressure. However, before this feature can work, you must press the "Setup" button to have the gauge automatically recalculate the pressure when it is depressurized, otherwise it will not recalculate the pressure. I personally find this odd because I have another gauge that automatically recalculates the pressure when the air pressure relief valve is used without any additional steps. The only reason I bought another gauge is because my original gauge only works with Schrader valves. I find the pressure gauge a bit high for the price. I think the best price would be $19.99. Overall, the Topeak D2 SmartGauge is a decent gauge for all the reasons I've listed, despite how the air pressure relief works in conjunction with the pressure conversion and the price of the device. However, if you want a better digital gauge than what you can find at an auto parts store or gas station, this is your best and pretty much your only option.
