Bought this set for an art project. I had a hard time separating them. The largest doll could not be opened. I had to steam the wood to separate it, after drying I sanded the inside edge. The packaging could have been better, it was wrapped in cling film with no further packaging/protection which resulted in a small tear on one of the pieces. Wood is smooth on the outside (rough on the inside). Most importantly, this set is affordable. Conclusion: I recommend this product. Good value for money. A bit tricky at first but after steaming and sanding everything is fine.
