Review on Enhance Performance with Olson Saw AC70010 Saw Blade Lubricant Stick Stone for Band Saw Blades by Deon Sweeney

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Excellent execution of a very useful product. Saves money.

Good for a variety of cutting tools and blade types. I use it to cut wood, aluminum and steel with circular saws and saw blades. I also use it for twist drills before drilling into metals. It is well suited for band saws and even saber saws. I notice a big difference in the life of the blades when using these or similar ones with them. I like this product because it's relatively cheap, lasts a long time, and gives good results. The hose is made of flexible plastic and is intended to be reused. The lid can be removed and the wax stick removed and applied to the cutting blade. It is a sticky or sticky wax with a hard yet flexible feel. Almost rubber. For drills, I simply insert the drill into the drill, touch the tip of the drill to the wax, and twist it a turn or two. With a circular saw blade, I lightly press the wax against the edge of the blade for a second while the blade rotates before I cut. I make sure the wax gets on the teeth of the blade and on the body or side of the blade. Works for a long time and saves money, making the blades last much longer. Especially when cutting metal or drilling. For drilling, it can also be applied directly to the surface of the material to be drilled.

Pros
  • When using Cool Blocks replaceable band saw blade guides, apply lubricant only to the tips of the teeth.
Cons
  • Poorly designed
