Review on 🚰 AQUACREST LT1000PC ADQ747935 MDJ64844601 NSF Certified Refrigerator Water and Air Filter - Ultimate Replacement for LG LT1000P & Kenmore 469980, 3 Combo by Joseph Meola

Despite the fact that the main product description says this is a replacement for ADQ747935, it is not. It will snap firmly into place, giving the ILLUSION that it's working. However, the inside of the PORT is DIFFERENT and does not connect to the valve, resulting in water never going through the filter. See my attached photos. When the new filter is installed you will get a little spatter from the nozzle due to the air that was in the filter. I didn't hear anything about it, which prompted me to investigate further. The main way to tell if the filter is working and water is flowing through it is to install the filter, run water through the system, then remove the filter and turn it upside down. A small amount of water should come out. If you only get a few drops, then it was most likely some residual water that was already there when you removed the old filter. However, in the end he only dented the internal plastic connector (which you can see in the photo if you look closely). Anyway, I wonder how many other people have used it and "thought" it worked, but actually didn't. Especially since it "fits" in the filter holder. Unfortunately I can't find any replacement that really looks like my original other than the original. And that's like $45 each! 🤦🏻‍♂️
