Review on LEGO Classic Large Creative Brick Set by Jason Staggs

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Great addition or starter set

Lego classics are cool! I'm a little partial, I loved Lego as a kid and this classic reminds me of my Lego buckets. I suspect Lego was responding to a public demand for something other than a set to build a specific item. Lego is educational in general, the sets taught my 5 and 3 year olds to follow instructions without reading them and the larger sets were fun for us as a family. This collection will inspire them to let their imagination run wild to build anything they want, in any color they want. I have included two photos to show how the stones are bagged and the paper on the back of the exact stones you will receive. Multiple windows, doors, base plates, wheels, ramps, dots, building blocks, smooth surfaces - see image for exact color and quantity of each item. The yellow storage brick is also great if you don't already have space for your Legos. I plan to use it as a decoration for her Lego birthday party. If you're looking for other lego storage options, the ikea trofast drawer system was an inexpensive way to organize by color. You get 790 pieces for $60. With the Lego rule of 10 cents a Lego, that seems like a lot. This box of Lego will cost hundreds of dollars. Lego has been around for generations, so there are no questions about durability or craftsmanship. Whether you need entertainment for your kids, want to add to an existing set, or want to make a gift for a Lego lover, this set is the perfect choice. Anyone who is interested in Lego knows there is a desire for more bricks behind it, so just keep adding! I also recommend the classic bright set, it was a great purchase for adding "girly" colors to my collection of stereotypical boyish colors. The classic middle set was ok but I probably wouldn't buy it again, I'd go back to the light set or that big box.
