The tub/bucket is cheap and the lid doesn't hold up

I have an old Lego set from when my 24 year old son was a little guy. The bucket is strong and came almost full of Lego. I had to purchase additional sets to make this Lego tub seem at least half full. The bucket itself is made out of thinner plastic which isn't very strong and the lid just sits there. It doesn't snap into place and if you hit it the lid will fall off. They definitely don't do things the way they used to. But at least this set encourages children's imagination. All "sets" or…

Give us REGULAR BLOCKS!

WHY? Is it possible to sell regular Lego bricks? There are hundreds of blog comments, comments, reviews, etc. on this. on any number of pages. It really is bad business not to listen to your customers. We're already raising prices. Please make a set of rectangular quads, square doubles, 8 long doubles, etc. No more pink or purple singles my son never uses. Total waste. You know it! Please give us what we want. And yes, I know previously used, randomly selected blocksets. Please. Is that your…

Need more LEGO pieces for your child?

Good: - Parts, new and clean (I bought the general set off eBay and the Lego was dirty so I just threw it away) - Large LEGO plastic box for storage - Decent set of parts, but not many Great Bad: Over for the price, would like more pieces Not enough wheels Conclusion: I needed more generic LEGO pieces when our son started taking his creations apart to build other things. At first I tried to buy used items on eBay but I had the bad experience that they were dirty. These items were new and clean…

Great sentence! suitable for assembling toys

This is the perfect set for kids making the switch from Duplo Legos to original Legos! I gave it to my 6 year old daughter and she loves it! The container is also perfect as you can add more lego. All this is less than half the capacity of the container. Including 2 instruction booklets. Booklet A and Booklet B. These are very easy to follow and have large illustrations so kids can easily follow the step by step procedures. The overall quality is great! We love that the hinges on the tractor…

Best toy investment

Best investment, cheapest. Yes I said cheap keeps me sane and daughter keeps her busy for hours so its worth $$$. We got the box today and she's been in it for over 6 hours straight, forget about lunch, she's too focused. If you're stuck indoors with kids during this pandemic you should buy this, if not you should buy this anyway. Now I'll leave the jokes aside. If you want to engage your kids with quality, creative information, and brain feeding, look no further. Yes, and yes, take a big box…

Mindless variety of details - it's hard to build a house.

++ Notes:* The box is not suitable for storing Lego - some pieces are small enough to fall through the hole in the bottom. I advise purchasing a separate Lego organization solution. I bought an extra "Lego Creative Supplement" set but I was still having trouble getting enough parts for the wall and roof of the house. The types of pieces available for each color are also a little whimsy. I want them to take away some of the colors and just give more basic elements. * The only green baseplate…

Great addition or starter set

Lego classics are cool! I'm a little partial, I loved Lego as a kid and this classic reminds me of my Lego buckets. I suspect Lego was responding to a public demand for something other than a set to build a specific item. Lego is educational in general, the sets taught my 5 and 3 year olds to follow instructions without reading them and the larger sets were fun for us as a family. This collection will inspire them to let their imagination run wild to build anything they want, in any color they…

MAKE a Zombie Apocalypse Security Starter Kit!

If you're worried about the zombie apocalypse this set is a great way to protect your home - just open the packs of pretty colorful pieces and toss them on the ground! Anyone who's stepped on Lego knows that at 790 pieces of pure torture, this is a very inexpensive way to keep zombies, robbers, various baddies and all barefoot adults at a safe distance. It's also a great deal for those who love building with Lego but hate the prices of these little sets, which can cost $15 and up for enough…
