I bought 2 hubs for my 2008 MDX front bearings. Neither hub would slip about 2 inches on the CV shaft. I had to tighten another with an old spindle nut to make it work. The splines on the CV shaft were clean as new, so that's not a problem. I used a 3 jaw puller to check the splines after removing the Timken once installed to make sure there was no fraying and then put it back on on the mdx for several hundred miles with no problems. I sent the other hub assembly back to Amazon for a refund. I will most likely stick with the Honda/Acura hub if the other side needs replacing. The only reason I bought 2 Timkens was because they were half the OEM price and I've never had a problem with Timken parts in the past so I figured I'd just swap them both out at once and the brake would work , you can replace the bearing, but I just haven't had any luck with the spline attachment.
