Connection cable cut in half

I just received this light and it works. My plan was to combine this UV light with several other LED daylight lamps that I use to grow tomatoes, peppers and other vegetables in the garden. But I was disappointed that the cable (pictured) that connects it to other LED bulbs was unusable. The cord had only one end; as if it had been cut in half before packing at the factory. Luckily I had an extra patch cord from my previous purchase of another LED light (not from this manufacturer) so I could use the light. But I feel a little cheated on this purchase.
