A welding helmet (also a Lincoln Electric) that I had for almost 20 years finally broke beyond my ability to repair. I usually weld 1 or 2 times a month so I didn't see a need to spend money on an auto-dimming helmet. I was surprised how hard it is to find a good helmet without auto dimming. Searched for a long time to find reviews. I'm not disappointed at all. Lincoln Electric continues to make great products and I expect this product will last a long time. The only downside I would say is that it doesn't have a pop up lens. So you have to open the helmet every time. With a bit of welding, it's not a big deal for me, but that's something to keep in mind when buying.
