They were very easy to install. Bought for my mother in law who lives with us (she is 80). They were very easy to install and use. They cover a very large area - place receivers in our main living room, our master bedroom and my wife's room. I placed a built in call button in my mother in law's bathroom and other portable ones in her bedroom and sink area. If she feels "shaky" or dizzy, she can simply hang it around her neck as she walks around the house in her walker. That gives us some comfort when she can call for help and we HEAR her cry for help.
