Better elsewhere

So having two pairs of these for my Surface Dock which I use with the Surface Book 2 I can say they are not very good. They don't always block the highest optimal (or specified) resolution, which needs to be reinstalled. Another problem I have is that Windows loses communication with the adapters when Windows turns off the monitors because they have been idle for a long time, or when you lock the computer, causing the monitor to "lose". and any application or window that was on that monitor will be moved back to your home screen, requiring you to constantly rearrange your windows. Save yourself the hassle and buy the official Surface Adapters, it's worth it, I bought two to try about a week ago and all the problems I had are gone.

Pros
  • Easy to use
Cons
  • Could have chosen a newer model
