My old caravan had a cracked muffler which was very loud. If you were in the back seats, you couldn't have anyone in the front seat. This $50 deal is very easy to use as a DIY replacement. You don't have to jack up the car either. Work on the passenger side. I hooked it up to a Walker 54487 resonator assembly and replaced both parts. Be sure to add the 2" and 2 1/4" clamps you will need to complete the job. Very important. The sound is very similar to the original combination of silencer and resonator.
