I put off purchasing this case because the reviews had some quality control issues, some people said nothing bad, others said the case didn't work as announced. The case is fine, all the details are there. The point is that the spots where the parts are held securely in the lid are tight and the first time I inserted the extension ruler I had to use more force than I expected, but it's been easy ever since. Clip it on and off and it stays securely in storage. True Position actually included a piece of paper inside the case explaining that this is normal and also explains that even when closed the mount is held in place by the case's lid and otherwise floats which is the same as in every tool box. , that is, a drill. This is a good product and I am happy with my purchase.
