The goods have mostly arrived in perfect condition. The instructions suggest that a hair dryer will help restore it and remove the crease. I didn't have a blow dryer so I used a heat gun set at 250-300°F. Dents and wrinkles can be smoothed out easily. In general, the landing is good. The walls rise up quite high (just below the release button) so a perfect fit around the perimeter with a flexible piece of rubber might not be possible. My only complaint is the mold release on the product. It's the black part, and the mold release probably contained talc. There were many streaks on the part. I cleaned it with a brush, hot water and soap. Washes off easily (photo attached). There are still a few stains that I will remove with a thin layer of oil. Peanut butter works wonders to bring back the blackness of body panels. But a product like Armor-All should work similarly. It gives the front of the trunk a much better look and it easily picks up and spills stored groceries or snow/ice.
