Although I didn't buy this tool set here, I have almost the same set and it works great. You must be very careful to use the components in the correct orientation or you will end up damaging your bumper! The negative feedback that the tool damaged their bumpers was not caused by the tool but by user error. This will cut through almost any composite (plastic) bumper or trim, but be warned it won't work through fiberglass or steel. I know this sounds obvious enough, but you'd be surprised how many people attempt to use these kits on their aftermarket fiberglass bumpers with disastrous results. When used correctly on the right material, it should cut cleanly for a few seconds with little to no resistance. If you notice anything else, STOP and repeat the instructions again. I have used my kit on numerous custom parking sensor installations and it has worked flawlessly every time.
