Router UI is superior to TP-Link. It's a few dollars more expensive, but it's worth it for the extra features, stability, and user experience. The GL iNet router keeps the networks you used before and makes it much easier to connect. I spoke directly to TP-Link and they confirmed that I needed to reset their router to an admin password to connect to a new or previously used network. So each time I had to press the stylus on the little reset button, hold it for a few seconds, set a new admin password, and then go through the quick setup process. Also note that TP-Link UI text and screen size are not optimized for mobile devices. So you have to pinch, expand and swipe to get the links you need to customize. I know a bit of an annoyance, but still they should check the box that optimizes text and screen layout. The GL iNet router gives you the ability to save the network. So if you're in the same hotel or coffee shop, it's pretty easy to connect without a factory reset. The LAN and Micro SD inputs also make it a lot more affordable than the TP-Link product. And one more thing: it will also automatically reconnect to the saved network. Unlike the TP-Link router. Hotels are not always stable and sometimes reset. TP-Link will require you to go through the quick setup again, but not this router. It's the little things that mean so much.
