Brake broke after 5 months

Got this scooter for my 3rd birthday in mid-November 2019. The brake broke last week. The minimum age is 36 months, the age of our child using the scooter. About 2 years ago we bought a Globber Scooter for our oldest child. There was a problem with the steering wheel. The design is such that the vertical portion of the handle is inserted into the body or fitting (not sure if that's the correct name) and locked in place with a button that slides through a hole in the body. Unnoticed by us, the case cracked so the button slipped out and the whole thing came loose while our senior was driving. She wasn't badly hurt, but she had more scratches and bruises from that fall than any other. We reached out to Globber about this and they sent us a complete replacement base. But the replacement turned out to be a newer model and didn't fit her older model scooter. Again he contacted Globber and asked them to investigate this issue as it was a crack in the bodywork which was part of the scooter's overall base. Globber didn't answer my letter. So I "fixed" it with super glue and cable ties. We decided to buy a second scooter because the first lasted about 18 months before snapping. And we felt like it was something weird that broke, and not normal. By then, a few weeks after we bought the second scooter, the brake on the first one broke. So our 2 experiences with these scooters were not very good.
