Good scooter suitable for sport

The scooter is easy to put together and easy for my 3 year old to ride and balance. My only concern is that the steering wheel doesn't actually rotate, it tilts to each side to make a slow turn. My little fella struggles with the concept but I've seen other kids come up to her so it may have taken him a minute to get used to it. Update: I've upgraded to 5 stars, it only took my son about 3 rides to figure out how to steer and is easier to control than his bike.

Pros
  • Very good value for money
Cons
  • So far so good

Great scooter: skates, skateboards and scooters

Bought for a 4 year old boy who loves it. At the same time I bought a Razor scooter for the older child and although the razor is fine the quality of this scooter is noticeably better than this one. First of all, it's the wheels. Quiet and very smooth. This one has a wider deck for more stability. Globber wheels don't transmit vibration through the handle like a razor does. Looking at them side by side, it takes about 5 minutes to notice a difference in quality. True, they are not the same…

Rear wheel wears unevenly and brakes are breaking

This is quite an expensive scooter and we made the mistake of buying a second one after the first one broke! On the first, the rear wheel is almost square due to uneven wear. When the brake broke, we bought a second one. The brake on the second scooter also broke! He resorted to dragging his shoes across the floor to slow down/stop. The kids aren't particularly rough on their scooters, but there are a lot of hills in our area so the kids actually use the brakes on their scooters to control…

Second review. 5* to 4*

3rd Update – Another post-purchase update for my second boy. He's younger and more tender with him, and it's wonderful! He is 15 m tall and drives it alone. I didn't show him how to use it. I let him explore it for a few days and he figured it out! So much fun letting them learn! I also bought a light up rear wheel. It was easy to replace. - - - - - The second reply in 4 months. The brake broke. Also, half of the wheel rubber is worn out at 1/2 wheel from a gap. I wonder why these wheels aren't

NOT a worthy replacement for a branded product

I bought this product thinking it would be a worthy replacement for Micro Kickboard brand scooters at this price but at half the price - and still expensive at eighty Dollar. . We bought the scooter on April 3rd and yesterday 19th May, about 6 weeks later, both main components of this scooter were removed (including photos). My son is only 4 years old and somehow this scooter is absolutely NOT able to meet his needs at less than half the weight limit and only being used for a couple of weeks…

Wow! This scooter is amazing!

I bought a globber for my 11 year old. She has some scooters and some skateboards so I wasn't sure if she would like the tricycle but it looked cool and colorful so I gave it a try. Base. It was quick and easy. I think the wheels caught my eye right away. They were different than the typical scooter. I also noticed how smooth the ride was. As my daughter observed the test in the driveway, the wheels gave the scooter a soft and smooth feel. And quiet. We took the scooter outside for a real ride…

Absolutely fantastic scooter. And excellent customer service

I actually had an experience similar to the popular 1 star rating regarding brake failure, but my experience with customer service was completely different. I emailed their customer service team, mentioned the fact that my daughter had a broken brake (we bought the scooter about 6 months ago) and a few hours later a man from Australia replied to ask where I was. I replied and he quickly copied the North American team persona and shortly after they informed me that they would be sending a brake…

Brake broke after 5 months

Got this scooter for my 3rd birthday in mid-November 2019. The brake broke last week. The minimum age is 36 months, the age of our child using the scooter. About 2 years ago we bought a Globber Scooter for our oldest child. There was a problem with the steering wheel. The design is such that the vertical portion of the handle is inserted into the body or fitting (not sure if that's the correct name) and locked in place with a button that slides through a hole in the body. Unnoticed by us, the…
