I use large LoRan cards and binders to organize yarns and they are still in great condition. I can take exactly the thread I need in seconds. These project cards allow me to put a filament card I need for a project in my project bag. If you've never used cards before, take a whole ball of floss (or as many as you need), cut the bottom of the ball, then thread the top loop of the floss through the hole in the card, then gather together cut the ends, thread them through the top loop and pull tight. You can then braid the thread if you like, or just leave it loose. If necessary, pull individual trunks out of the upper loop. Be sure to write the thread number on the appropriate line on the card. Presto, you're organized.
