I have used this separator 2 times, it leaks. I have checked if there is a way to tighten the plug's gasket but it is leaking despite not doing its intended purpose. It's a good concept, it's just a shame it didn't work out. I filled it with tap water right out of the box, no problem. Then hot water from the kettle, no problem. Repeated both steps once more after it went through the dishwasher, no problem. Very satisfied both with the new item and with the customer service I received.
