only used once. I made the sauce in the slow cooker while stirring after frying. Simply drained the liquid from the slow cooker into the separator and waited 5 minutes, then added 2 cups to the pot, made the low-fat gravy. Then it's easy to break them open and put them in the dishwasher I don't think you can handle them very roughly but the price was right

I bought mine at least a year ago and am very happy with it. The separation is much better than other models. Ideal for preparing chicken or beef broth or gravy. I prefer a fat-free soup bowl. This is the only one you want to use. They say it can be used as pancake batter, I haven't tried it yet.

Shame on me. This is the second time I have bought this product. The bottom of the plastic ripped the first time. When it cracked, the bottom was no longer airtight and the juices leaked through the bottom. This was a disappointment because when I went to add juices to the rue there weren't any. I had pancreatitis and any fat can trigger an attack. I do without fats and have to be careful when preparing the sauce. I froze the drops to remove the fat. This delays our food, especially on special occasions. I decided to try this separator. I was concerned if it would be easy to use. I poured my drops, let them sit, about 30 seconds total. I have used this separator 2 times, it leaks. I have checked if there is a way to tighten the plug's gasket but it is leaking despite not doing its intended purpose. It's a good concept, it's just a shame it didn't work out. I filled it with tap water right out of the box, no problem. Then hot water from the kettle, no problem. Repeated both steps once more after it went through the dishwasher, no problem. Very satisfied both with the new item and with the customer service I received.

Received this just in time for my first roast of the fall season and it was so easy to use! It has helped me make the perfect gravy for my kids' favorite mashed potatoes.
