I had pancreatitis and any fat can trigger an attack. I do without fats and have to be careful when preparing the sauce. I froze the drops to remove the fat. This delays our food, especially on special occasions. I decided to try this separator. I was concerned if it would be easy to use. I poured my drops, let them sit, about 30 seconds total. Then I started pushing the button, which wasn't a problem, and the liquid started pouring out of the container. When it got to the fat I let go of the button and nothing more came out. Cleaning was as easy as described. I am satisfied with this product.
