I am the proud owner of a 1989 Honda Civic DX with only 143,000 miles on it. However, it was one of the best cars I have ever owned. Due to age, the struts that hold the sunroof have finally disappeared. I used a baseball bat to hold it open but got hit by this method a few times. The back of the hatch doesn't feel that heavy until it falls on you. I've reviewed racks from several vendors and was surprised at how proud they are of them. Finally I did what I should have done and looked at Revane. I was a little hesitant to order them because of the price ($15 are you kidding me?). I figured I'd give it a try because I can always return them if they don't work. They work! Installation took 15 minutes and I found that not only do they hold the sunroof securely open, but they also gently push when you raise the sunroof. I should have done this a long time ago. I couldn't be happier with my purchase!
