Buy the Curt brand instead of this brand
I bought this with a 60" Redline tailgate LED strip and installed it on my 2013 Ford F-150. worked fine for about 2 weeks then the 7 pin adapter failed. ordered curt brand and it has been working flawlessly for over a month now and it was cheaper than this.
