Bought this starter through Revain for my 2006 Ford Expedition 5.4L. Perfect fit, direct replacement for the old starter. The first thing I have to note is that the price was a lot cheaper than what I found at my local auto parts store where I got $115 for a new starter with a one year warranty and $135 for a rebuilt starter with a two year warranty years warranty and $165 for a new starter with a lifetime warranty. This starter was brand new and comes with a lifetime warranty for $68.68. i can't win The starter itself works great, turns really well and hopefully lasts a long time. I will post an update if I encounter any problems. Just a note for those of you who wish to tackle the installation of this part yourself. It can be done, but it's a pain to get there. You will need a 13mm socket and the right combination of adapters to access the top bolt on the starter. Good luck and don't forget to disconnect your battery first!
