Device operation mode: active surfing (including LiveJournal, heavy sites with a lot of graphics and text, etc.), reading books (Kindle app, PDF and b DJVu), working with mail and text documents, watching movies, listening to podcasts / music, sometimes photography. What iPad Air 2 is definitely better than the first Air is the screen and RAM. The screen on the second really has less glare even without the matte film (which I use anyway). The picture has become a little "closer" to the finger due to the removal of the air layer. With memory in Air 2, the situation is much better, however, when loading certain sites or blogs and several pages open in Chrome or Safari, lags appear. The release of iOS 8 has increased the requirements for hardware performance. I can’t say that the problem is everywhere and always manifests itself, but for me, having a responsive browser when surfing is important. In all other respects - the same Air of the first generation, slightly less weight.
