Great deal, they are not ready to use.The photo shows a few passes on 220 sandpaper over float glass. Thankfully the back is concave on all four chisels. The surface shows distinct grinder lines, but nothing an evening polishing will not fix.They come with a primary bevel that is rounded at the cutting edge. These really need a proper sharpening. I'll be putting a secondary bevel with a honing guide.The finish on the wood handles is not mirror smooth. I'm happy with it. And the ferrels on the striking end seem a bit thin.Overall these feel nice.Going with 4 stars because only time and a few hardwood knots will tell me if the steel chips.
