Review on Swagtron K8 Titan: Height-Adjustable Folding Commuter Kick Scooter for Adults & Teens with ABEC-9 Wheel Bearings by Lawrence Allison

I don't know what I did wrong with this product and this company. I even bought a protection plan. Just a victim of great marketing I guess. Out of the box this product was great! and is very comfortable to drive. It is used by a 12 year old to commute from school 3-4 days a week on the sidewalk. He just had an old Razor roller - used it for almost 2 years. I just decided to upgrade to the Swagtron because the razor was scratched and looked old. The Swagtron just fell apart after 29 days on the road. Smooth pavement again. Now he drives the 2 year old Razor again. It's a lot less comfortable but still works well. Details. Purchased 19th July 2019 First use on the road: 12th August Downtime: 1st October 2019 (less than 30 days of use only 3-4 days a week) - see picture Swagtron approved for overhaul on 10th October. A notice. A very cumbersome process and I had to pay for postage and $40 packaging. Confirmed received on November 14th. Today, November 27: still no words. I sincerely regret not having bought another scooter from another company. To add salt to the wound, the return process is cumbersome and expensive. I sincerely regret returning it - I should have just cut my losses. This company really let me down with their product and the inadequate and slow responses to this question in terms of customer service. I do not recommend.
