Review on INA446 Surf-Wind-Long Board Locking Roof Carrier with Pads - Securely Holds (1) Kayak, (1) Canoe, or (2) SUP/Wind/Surf-Boards by Neil Bodell

I was looking for these at a store on Oahu and they were out of stock. Board locks are pretty amazing if I do say so myself! Not only are they easy to install/remove, you can't do without a key! The black plastic boxes at each end have a quick-release fastener that locks to the cable with a small lever under tension. It's also fairly easy to load longboards etc as the roller pads roll (even on a square bar) so you can load the board from the front or back of the car. No more crazy climbs from your old school heavy glass nose rider! The cables are also untied, so it's even easier. For safety reasons, the cables can easily be cut with wire cutters. What kind of thief walks around with wire cutters? A good security measure if you're in a fairly busy area, but it's in no way prepared for an unsafe part of town. I would buy them again.
