I put this on a metal gate in a rural residential area. I used a dry microfiber cloth to wipe the tape while pressing it to ensure good contact and adhesion to the metal. All was well until the next night when it started to rain a little. The next morning the tape was on the floor, coming loose on the wet street. Buy something with real 3M adhesive backing. It's Chinese and it's cheap but not worth it. If he doesn't stay, he's useless.
